WACO—Anthony Jacobs of Lago Vista was selected to serve as one of only 100 members of Student Foundation at Baylor University. Student Foundation is an organization that builds community-minded leaders by entrusting students with recruiting qualified students, raising scholarship funds and building goodwill among alumni and students.
“Student Foundation” is a group of passionate and compassionate individuals striving to embody servant leadership. Our members see their service as a calling,” said Lizzy Davis, Troy and Betty Mays director of Student Foundation. “The university counts on these students to serve as Baylor representatives to past, present and future students.”
During Student Foundation’s nearly four decades on campus, the organization has awarded more than $4 million in scholarship money, helping 5,419 students. At its annual scholarship banquet in April, the organization awarded $220,000 in scholarships to Baylor students.
