Keep Lago Vista Beautiful has carried on its service to the community, providing plants on city property, picking up litter on city roadways and watering plants throughout the city.

With a severe drought affecting the area the past two years, KLVB has been unable to do any new landscaping; however, members have been working on ongoing projects and making big plans for the future.
Since the city of Lago Vista uses a sailboat as a logo, KLVB commissioned the construction of a metal sailboat in 2005 to be installed atop the pylon at the Dawn Drive and Lohman Ford Road intersection. In December 2008, KLVB purchased five lighted, industrial strength toys and Christmas banners, and ordered sailboat banners to replace the Christmas banners after the holiday season. This December, KLVB added lighted Christmas carolers at Veterans Park and toys along the Dawn Drive median. City workers help the KLVB with the installation and dismantling of these items.
City support and the support KLVB receives from local donations at the annual trash pickup and burn days are appreciated. The organization especially appreciates the annual support of the Lago Vista Women’s Club, the recent donation from the Lago Vista Garden Club and contributions from local residents.
KLVB meets 3 p.m. every second Thursday of the month at Lago Vista City Hall. The public is always invited. Call Lago Vista City Hall at 267-1155 for more information. There is no membership fee and volunteers can work in areas of their own interest. For your convenience, we even have random work days.
As a community, we would like your support to Keep Lago Vista Beautiful.
