The Lago Vista High School girls’ “Blue” team grasped back-to-back, second-place finishes in Salado Monday and San Antonio March 25.
At Mill Creek Golf Course in Salado, the girls kept their scores mostly in the low 100s to beat out Ellison, Rogers and Academy for second place. Salado finished first overall with a 356 score, while Lago finished with a 408.
Katie Jackson led Lago with a 94 round and fourth place individual medal. Taylor Hillhouse shot a 102, Amy Woodhull a 103, Heather Hunt a 109 and Kristen Mayer a 117.
In San Antonio, Hunt and Woodhull led their team at the Randolph Oaks Golf Course March 25 in San Antonio with 104 rounds. Jackson shot a 106, Hillhouse a 107 and Mayer a 111.
The LV girls’ “Gold” team also competed at the March 25 tourney, with Morgan Hillhouse leading with a 123. Freshmen Hannah Fiveash, Jessie Burleson, Morgan Baker and Anaisa Kalita had scores of 131, 132, 134 and 139, respectively.
The girls will compete in the first round of the District 25-2A Tournament Wednesday at the Lago Vista Golf Course.
